Time to shake off those mince pies with Banbridge CC
WITH the seasonal festivities well and truly over the Banbridge Cycling Club has turned its thoughts firmly on training for the season ahead, so the club would like to extend an invitation to members, friends and family to join them for the club circuit training held on Monday nights at Banbridge Academy at 7-8pm sharp.
Come down a support a programme which has been designed to get the heart rate up to help burn up fat, as well as giving the whole body an intense work out, you will notice the difference during the season so see you there.
Well done to Roger Aiken on yet another fine win last weekend at the pre national cyclo-cross event held in Dungannon and hosted by Island Wheelers, this should lead the local man and recently crowned Ulster Champion in good stead for the Irish National Cyclo-cross Championships held on January 13 in Muirhevnamor Park, Dundalk.
It all kicks off at midday and I’m sure you would enjoy the day’s events should you head down in support of Roger.
All the info on both of the above events can be found at www.ulstercyclocross.com.
