Rathfriland continue preparations 
for new season

Tonight (Tuesday) Rathfriland Rangers host Newry City at Iveagh Park.

Having defeated lurgan town 1 - 0 last thursday evening manager John Kernaghan will be looking to challenge city who were promoted to Division 1A of the Mid-Ulster League. Newry have strengthened in the close season with a number of new signings and it all looks set for a good workout at Iveagh Park. Kick off 7pm.

Rathfriland Rangers will travel to neighbours Dromara Village on the opening day of the 2014 / 15 season. Saturday 9 August will be the date that derby day between these two clubs is reignited at Millbridge. Everyone at the club is looking forward to this fixture with much anticipation against a side now managed by former Glenavon and Spurs player Gerard McMahon. Kick off 2pm.

RANGERS RESERVES V ANNALONG FRIENDLY

Rathfriland’s second string this saturday will host annalong in a pre season friendly. Rangers Reserves had a great 2 - 1 win against Newcastle Premier League side Tullymore on Saturday past and will be hoping for a repeat performance this weekend.
