Rathfriland Rangers travel to Portadown this Saturday for an away fixture against Hanover in the second round of the Bob Radcliffe Cup.

The Brownstown Road side, who ply their trade in the Mid Ulster Intermediate B Division, have been unbeaten in their league campaign this season with three wins out of three.

This will be a tough match for Rathfriland but hopefully they have enough to see them over the proverbial line. Early kick off at 1.30pm.

Meanwhile, Rangers Reserves will travel to Loughgall in a reserve championship league fixture this Saturday.

Loughgall have won their first game but Rathfriland will be looking to cause an upset at Lakeview. Kick off 2.15pm.

Rathfriland Colts match this Saturday is still to be confirmed.

The September committee meeting will take place tonight (Tuesday, September 16) at the clubrooms at 7pm.

Rathfriland FC’s plans to introduce “Last Man Standing” has come to fruition with the first match choices already underway. Details and updates can be found on the Rathfriland FC Facebook page.

Training continues at 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday this week. All new players welcome.

Rangers have drawn Dunloy at home on Saturday October 4 in the Irish Cup.
