SLIDESHOW: Causeway Coast & Glens Council welcomes Fairtrade visitor
Haris Picado was the special guest at an event in Cloonavin on March 9, which was held as part of Council’s ongoing commitment to becoming a Fairtrade Borough.
Haris shared his experiences of the Fairtrade initiative and explained its importance for himself and his wider community.

Hide AdHe was welcomed to the Borough by the Deputy Mayor, Councillor James Alexander McCorkell who addressed the crowd and spoke about Council’s to Fairtrade values.
He said: “It is my intention to promote this worthy cause throughout the Borough. After listening to Harris’ story, we need everyone in the community to fully support farmers and their families during this significant campaign.”
