What better way to kick off the festive season than with the masters of the Christmas song - Slade.

They will be coming to the Waterfront in Belfast on December 8 and tickets are on sale now.

Slade dominated the UK Charts in the early 1970’s out performing chart rivals, including Wizzard, Sweet, T Rex, Suzi Quatro, Mud, Smokie, Roxy Music and
David Bowie.

The band had 12 UK Top 5 singles between 1971 and 1974, three of which went straight to No. 1! In total, they had 17 Top 20 hits between 1971 and 1976 – six reached No. 1, three reached No. 2, and two reached No. 3. Slade sold more singles in the UK than any other band in the 1970’s.

Slade were reformed in 1992 by original band members Dave Hill & Don Powell.

Slade today are still one of the most exciting bands on the road, and their stage performance is a dynamic, powerful and exhilarating roller-coaster ride of pure unadulterated rock ‘n’ roll. The band continue to tour the world including an annual tour of the UK, Merry Xmas Everybody tour in December. They have a huge following in Europe and regularly perform in Germany, Russia, Poland, Belgium, Holland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, France and the Czech Republic.

Tickets are on sale now from all usual outlets.
