The beautiful village of Scarva will be echoing to the delightful sounds of Rathfriland Silver Band this Easter Sunday as the ever-popular concert band season gets under way once more.
The concert season, which runs each Sunday from 3 to 4pm commencing on 27 March until 25 September, features the finest in local concert bands performing at the Victorian bandstand on Scarva Green,.
The concerts are organised by the South West Down Bands Association and supported by Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council.
Bands for Easter Sunday and April are: Sunday 27 March - Rathfriland Silver Band, Sunday 10 April - Castlewellan Accordion Orchestra, Sunday 17 April - Banbridge Accordion Orchestra, Sunday 24 April - St. Mark’s Silver Band, Sunday 24 April - Banbridge Silver Band.
