Art Garfunkel returns to the stage in Belfast

The iconic singer Art Garfunkel is retuning to the stage and will be performing at teh WAterfront Hall in Belfast on September 14.

The star is back on the live 
circuit after taking time off 
to recover from a vocal ailment.

“I feel like 26,” Garfunkel recently said. “I worked to 
get the voice back…I have 
been singing since I was five; it’s my best friend. I’m 
married to singing and its problems.

“The voice left me and 
now that it’s back, I am so grateful.”

His live set encompasses his solo hits, Simon and 
Garfunkel songs, cuts from 
his favourite songwriters - Jimmy Webb, Randy Newman, A.C. Jobim – and parts of his new book.

Art Garfunkel has made 
an indelible mark on the 
music world as both a solo artist and half of the unrivalled Simon & Garfunkel.

He has also enjoyed a 
successful film career, published a book of poetry and released 12 original solo albums, the most recent being Some Enchanted Evening in 2007, plus a 2-CD compendium of his full body of work The Singer.
