Watson says tide will turn

Banbridge Town boss Ryan Watson is confident that his side will turn round their poor run of form.

Town have lost four out of their last five games, including a penalty defeat to Wakehurst in the Intermediate Cup.

Last week, he asked them to score more goals but as three found the net against Moyola on Saturday, four went in at the other end.

Watson is confident their form will soon turn around though.

“We firmly believe that we will bounce back,” he said.

“We’re all determined to do that. The players know exactly what we need to do. They have given the club effort and commitment in abundance lately. If they keep doing that, it’ll only be a matter of time until this turns round, I’m confident of that.”

Town’s next game is not until they travel Wakehurst on Saturday 1st February. Watson is looking forward to welcoming back some of his injured players for that one.

“It’ll be nice to get our injured players back as well. At least they have a couple of weeks to get back now.

“Steven Jones isn’t far away. Hopefully he’ll be available for the next game.”
