- THE club’s other U9s scored two wins over Portadown Youth and Oxford Sunnyside.

In their first game against Portadown they were two down in the early stages with Portadown starting brightly and only for some fine defending from Calum Kermath and Lee Whitten the scoreline might have been more.

With half the game still remaining Banbridge started to slowly come into the game more and they pulled a goal back when an Owen Wilson corner was superbly headed into the net by Josh Kerr.

This seemed to spur Banbridge on and the equaliser soon arrived when Jack Murrays effort was saved by the keeper only for Patrick McGrath to sweep home the rebound.
