The team remained the same going into the 2nd quarter and after some positive feedback and instruction at quarter time Banbridge started confidently in their attack.

The four attack worked well around the circle continually repositioning ensuring that every opportunity was maximised and goals were added to the score line.

Stealing a number of the Bangor centre passes through excellent defensive work by Charley, Alana and Emily, Banbridge edged ahead at half time – Banbridge 12 – 8 Bangor.

Banbridge again started well but a number of unforced errors that were picked up by Bangor and converted by their very accurate and skilful GS started to reduce the goal difference.

Momentum continued with full court defence pressurising Bangor resulting in interceptions throughout which were directed to the Banbridge shooting circle where Jessica and Gemma effortlessly converted. Bangor still didn’t make it easy for the home side but Banbridge who were now extremely focused dictated the play and stormed ahead. Final score Bann 26 – 19 Bangor
