Donegal Celtic quickly responded, catching the Banbridge defence high up the pitch and scoring in the sixth minute.

Banbridge fought back in the eighth minute with a fine effort on the left wing coming from Curtis-Lee McKeever when he hit an excellent cross in which deceived the keeper and found the back of the net.

With neither team managing to dominate the run of the ball the game continued to ebb and flow until the 13th minute when Donegal Celtic snatched an equaliser. The scores remained the same until the half time whistle.

Both teams started the second half with renewed vigour, Banbridge regained the lead on the second minute with Curtis-Lee McKeever once again showing his high work rate down the left wing. He once again fired high past the Donegal Celtic 'keeper giving him no chance.

With Donegal Celtic pushing hard for an equaliser Banbridge brought on several substitutes in an effort to put the game beyond the reach of the opposition.

However Donegal Celtic reacted to this and once again caught the Banbridge defence on the break to level the score with eight minutes remaining. Only for yet another outstanding performance from the Banbridge goalkeeper Billy Campbell the result could have been less favourable for Banbridge.

This week's Banbridge man of the match was Curtis-Lee McKeever for his excellent work rate on his preferred left wing and for reverting to an unfamiliar right wing position in the second half.
