Trust meets with local scheme members

THE Patient and Client Council's Local Advisory Committee for the Southern Health and Social Care Trust area recently met with people from Banbridge who have joined the Patient and Client Council Membership Scheme.

The event was hosted by Councillor Joan Baird and the committee helps the work of the Patient and Client Council by informing it about issues important to local people.

Eileen Wright, a Local Advisory Committee Member, said, “This morning’s discussion was very useful in helping the Local Advisory Committee build up a picture of everyday experience of health and social care. The membership scheme will help the Southern Advisory Committee in promoting local change for local people."
