RANGERS IN HOLYWOOD - Rangers this Saturday will travel to Holywood for a league fixture. Holywood are in the bottom half of the table but manager Alan Frazer will be taking nothing for granted as they keep their championship push going. Kick off 2pm.

SWIFTS AWAY TO LOUGHGALL RESERVES - Rathfriland Swifts this Saturday finish their campaign with an away fixture to Loughgall Reserves at Lakeview Park. The return fixture last week seen a two goal gap between the teams but The Swifts will be looking for a big finish in their last game. Kick off 2.15pm. .

SWIFTS RESERVES AWAY TO DUNGANNON - Rathfriland Swifts Reserves this Saturday travel to Dungannon for a league fixture. The Swifts Reserves had a brilliant 10 – 0 away win on Saturday past but will not get it as easy this Saturday at the County Tyrone venue. Kick off 2.15pm.

VIRTUAL PROMOTION! - Barring a mathematical miracle, Rathfriland Rangers have secured promotion to Division 1A of the Northern Amateur Football League. With their win over Bloomfield on Saturday and Dunmurray`s defeat it will be Rathfriland and Immaculata to go up but the big question now is who will win Diviision 1B? With five game remaining there is still all to play for – congratulations to Alan Frazer, Stevie McBride, the rest of the backroom team and the players on this super achievement for the club.

TWO MIDWEEKERS FOR RANGERS - Rathfriland Rangers` run of games continues this week with two games – the first is at Iveagh Park tonight (Tues 30th April) against third placed team Dunmurray YM with Thursday evening seeing them travel to Ballywalter Rec. Plenty of activity left yet for Rangers – both games have a 7pm kick off.

SWIFTS HOME TO LURGAN CELTIC - Rathfriland Swifts host Lurgan Celtic tomorrow evening (Wed 1st May) in a league fixture. This is the Swifts penultimate league game and last home league game of the season – good chance to get a look. Kick off 6.45pm

COLTS HOME TO MAGHERA - Rathfriland Colts are at home to Maghera this Thursday evening. The Colts will be looking to collect the three point especially on home soil. Kick off 6.45pm.

SYMPATHY - Sympathy from Rathfriland FC goes to the family of Micky McGaughey who passed away recently after a tragic accident. Micky, a former player of Rathfriland Rangers, in typical goalscoring fashion scored the goal that helped his team Villa Rovers secure promotion the evening before his accident.

COMMITTEE MEETING - The May committee meeting will take place at the clubrooms Tuesday 21st May at 7pm. Please note the new earlier start time.

RATHFRILAND FC ANNUAL DINNER DANCE AND AWARDS NIGHT - Rathfriland FC will be holding their end of season dinner and awards night at the Burrendale Hotel, Newcastle on Friday 24th May at 7.15pm. Music is by Shogunne and tickets are priced at £30 each with payment from everyone required by Saturday 4th May. A bus will be leaving Church Square, Rathfriland at 6.45pm sharp.
