Timothy has a wonderful Juveniles' Captain's Day

Timothy Hodgett is the Juvenile Captain and he had everything organised to perfection. His mother, Mildred, is the Lady Captain and Timothy seems to have picked up a lot of organisational skills from her.

All the competitions were keenly contested with the following results:

Winner (white blocks): Christopher McAvoy.

Winner (yellow blocks): Jonathan Brush.

Runner-up (white blocks): Josh Lockhart.

Runner-up (yellow blocks): Luke Crory.

Third (white blocks): William Malcolmson.

Best Gross (white blocks): Luke Woods.

Best Gross (yellow blocks): Michael Young.

William Malcolmson hit the longest drive at the 14th and he was also closest to the hole at the 15th.

Matthew Jamison hit the longest drive from the yellow blocks.

All the juvenile members, and there sometimes seems to be hundreds of them, should shake Timothy’s hand and thank him for arranging such an enjoyable day’s golf.

The next big day for the younger members is Juveniles’ Day on Sunday September 5. And then it is back to school. Don’t the holidays pass really quickly!
