Bann’s Second team notched up their second league win in impressive fashion, scoring ten tries after City of Derry had logged their only points of the game with a 2nd minute drop goal.

Winger Keir Patterson finished off a fine team try to open his side’s scoring and after Clark McAllister had kicked a penalty Mark Irvine scored from a ‘catch and drive’.

Skipper Paul Ross touched down from close range to put his side 18-3 up at the break.

The tries followed at regular intervals after the break.

Alan Conn was impressive throughout at No 8 and his strong run put him in for the first score.

Irvine grabbed his second and new recruit Ben Cosker marked a fine debut with a touchdown.

McAllister showed that his talents weren’t confined to the boot with a great try from the re-start and Patterson notched his sixth try of the season with a run from the halfway line.

Packie Downey marked his return to competitive action with the ninth try and scrum-half Josh Coyle wrapped up the try-scoring. McAllister added five conversions to his penalty with Macauley Little adding another.
