TAKE THREE FOR RADCLIFFE FINAL

BANBRIDGE Town are preparing for their third attempt at playing the Bob Radcliffe Cup final (Easter Monday, 3pm).

Town take on Loughgall in the final at Lakeview Park - a venue where the Villagers haven't lost in 19 games, winning 17 of those.

Andrew Cully, club chairman, is taking nothing from that record. "We knew when we entered the competition where the final and what the rules were would be so we have no complaints.

"At the end of the day if it's 11 v 11 on the pitch then we have as good a chance as Loughgall have.

"Loughgall are probably clear favourites but Colly Malone will have the boys well prepared, have no doubt about that."

Town will go into the game without the on-loan Shea McGerrigan who played in an earlier round of the competition, while Marc Whitla (shoulder) and Matty McCartan (rib) are both doubtful.

But there are boosts for the Town with Ricky Copeland and Mark Teggart both coming back into the side after serving suspensions.

"Everyone is looking forward to the final and I'd just like to wish all the boys the very best going into the final," Mr Cully added.
