SUNDAY 20TH MARCH

Dominic McArdle loves the nine holes Sunday Sweep.

You have to go way back to 2010 to find a year in which Dominic failed to win it at least once.

His best year was 2011 when he won it three times. He’s up and running this year with a decisive win.

I wouldn’t bet against him beating his 2011 record.

The happiest man on this particular Sunday though was Jim Carvill who walked away with a sizeable twos pot.

1st- Dominic McArdle (21) nett 30.5.

2nd- Nigel Bryson (9) Nett 32.5.

3rd- Colin Smylie (19) Nett 32.5.

4th- Eugene weir (5) Nett 33.5.

MONDAY 21ST MARCH

This was the first Monday Sweep of the year.

In fact, it is the first Monday Sweep since the 2nd November last year. Let’s hope its popularity returns.

The great John McCormac was a clear-cut winner by four points. Is he as good a player as he says he is? It looks like it.

1st- John McCormac (13) 32 points.

2nd- Sam Wilkinson (25) 28 points.

THURSDAY 24TH MARCH

After his recent visit to Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina, the course in Banbridge holds no terrors for John Molloy.

3rd- Colin McDonald (16) 31 points.
