The tournament sponsored by many local businesses and the organisers would like to thank all those whose contribution made the tournament possible. The finals night was held on Saturday 1st February and was watched by a large crowd who were well entertained by an exhibition of high class bowling by the finalists. In the semi-finals A Tennant and W McCaw defeated Malcolm and Margaret Campbell by a single shot while Nigel Gamble and Edwin Irwin lost by two shots to Charlie Mearns and Fiona Mc Dermott. The final was a very closely contested affair with A Tennant and W Mc Caw eventually drawing the winning shot with their final bowl. The club are very happy with the outcome of the venture and are looking forward to repeating the event next year.
