Special meeting to be held to promote young bird programme

The Northern Ireland middle route is holding a promotional night to promote the 2013 young bird programme in Banbridge Legion.

It will take place on Wednesday July 17 at 8pm.

Committee members will be there to answer your questions and to welcome new ideas.

They will explain what the middle route has done and for local pigeon fanciers.

There will also be discussion on distance flying. There is midweek and weekend racing for young birds, 25p per bird and the new transporter will be used.

The race programme is as follows:

Three Mullingars; two Tullamores; two Roscrea; one Rosscarbery National.
