Sky Blues looking for seven wins on the trot

MAGHERAFELT Sky Blues won 2-1 last Saturday at home against Draperstown Celtic to stay top of the NI Intermediate League with six wins in a row.

A good sized crowd turned up at Spires Park to see this local derby and it was the Blues supporters who went away happy with goals from C. Mallon and A. Hawe.

This Saturday (March 13), the first team are at home to Kesh in the Intermediate League, kick off 2pm, Spires Park.

Reserve victory

THE Reserves won 3-0 last Saturday against Chimney Corner Reserves at Moneymore in the Ballymena League Division One. Goals came from Stewart (2) and Beattie.

Youth matches

THE U16s lost 2-0 last Saturday away against Culmore U16s in the league.

The U14s lost 6-0 against Belfast side Dungoyne U14s. The U14s are playing in the Easter Preston Cup. For more details log on to www.eastercup.co.uk.

The U12s won 3-2 away last Saturday against Moyola Park U13s in the League.

Mini soccer

THE club’s mini soccer started last Saturday morning for its fourth season and nearly 100 children turned up.

SKY Blues O35s play every Wednesday night from 7pm until 8pm at Meadowbank Sports Arena.
