Six more points for Dromore’s ‘B’ team

There was another six points for Dromore “B” team at home to Newry to keep them on the tail of Antrim.

Rink 1: In the early stages Newry had the upper hand but Burns rallied his troops to lead by two at the halfway mark. The home boys were mostly in control to be five ahead at the end.

Rink 2: It was a stroll for this rink which was 10 ahead at 10 ends, 16 in front at three quarter and finished with a big win of 24 shots at the end.

Rink 3: Not a good day for this rink. They were nine behind by the 15th end, but won four ends of the last six to see them defeated by a single shot

Rink 4: They were seven ahead at halfway but had a lean spell up to the 15th to lead by three, going on to win by nine.

This Tuesday the “A” team play Banbridge away and on Saturday will be at home to Balmoral.
