And, in a tremendous final, he beat four handicapper Jonathan Ward by 3 and 2.

And Shane didn’t stop there. On Champion’s Day, Saturday September 11, he shot 42 points and he won the overall title of Champion of Champions.

Shane is now playing off a handicap of six and he must be a candidate for next year’s Junior Cup team. That’s all in the future. Meantime, he can enjoy what he has achieved this season.

On Champion’s Day, Sydney Pepper won the senior champion title with 39 points and Stuart Hunter won the gross champion title with a fine score of one over par 70.
