Queens, who are unbeaten this season, were always going to be a hard task. Captain Andy Graham lead out the Seconds after team changes due to a number of injuries.

The first half started well with Kyle Copeland controlling the pack, winning the scrums creating turnover ball.

Ryan Kerr jumped and disrupted well in the line out with good lifting from Adam Proctor, Jonny Maguire and Arney McKinstry.

Stuart Russell played one of his best matches this season by making hard crunching tackles which put Queens on the back foot.

A return to rugby by Stuarty Sloan after a two year absence at hooker seen his throws in the line out hit their marks.

The paring of Craig Williams at nine and Philly Lunn 10 controlled the play resulting in the back line running hard at Queens.

The second half started off with Queens getting the first points on the board, however minutes later Dromore taking back the points.

With 20 minutes to go Queens scored after a number of handling errors however Dromore stepped up the pace resulting three more tries, two being converted by Phily Lunn.

At the final whistle Dromore were victorious with a 47–24 win. Tries included three from Stuart Russell, Adam Proctor, Andy Graham (Capt) Craig Willaims and Arney McKinstry.

Overall a good result from a confident team that are going from strength to strength.

The next match is on November 17 at home to league leaders Rainey Old Boys.
