It was the home side that had the first effort on goal. As the Village were left exposed at the back keeper Kris Fletcher made a great save in a one on one battle with the Ballymacash centre forward.

It didn't take Seapatrick long to record their first goal. A great ball was played down the line by centre half Mark McCallum and as Steve Jones outpaced his marker he played a wonderful through ball to Aaron Gallagher. Gallagher’s first time effort was saved by the keeper and the influential Mark Watt was on hand to blast into the roof of the net.

Gallagher was unlucky a short time later as his effort seemed to be handled on the line when the ball was goal bound. On 12 minutes an inswinging corner was met by Chris McGrath and he thumped his effort through a crowded goal mouth to make it 2-0.

Davy Dawson was the next to try his luck. He brushed off a challenge in the box and as his effort looked like going to the top corner the Lisburn keeper pulled of a great save. Ballymacash were unlucky at the other end as their number nine saw his effort go marginally over the bar.

Dawson was instrumental in Seapatrick’s third. His quick thinking ball over the top left Steve Jones in a 50-50 situation with the home keeper, as Jones bravely challenged he came out on top and cooly rounded the keeper to slot in.

The fourth came in similar fashion. Kris Fletcher's long kick out was met by the head of Dawson and as Ballymacash were caught on the backfoot, Aaron Gallagher was the first to react and raced clear to slot into the bottom corner.

Goal number five came when full back Ernie Buchanan played a perfect ball down the line to Gallagher who cut inside his marker and slotted past the advancing keeper.

Ballymacash pushed further and further forward in hope of a consolation but it was exposing their backline. Mark McCallum took full advantage, his ball over the top found Gallagher and after his initial effort was saved he eased his rebound past the keeper.

Gallagher turned provider to complete the rout as his through ball found Glynn Miskimmin, who's deft chip hit the top corner from 18 yards. A disciplined and composed display by Seapatrick who face Tandragee on their travels next week.
