Schoolkids get a pizza the action

PLAYERS from Dromore Central Primary School and Fair Hill Primary School were gathered at Ravenhill last week for the Domino’s Pizza Ulster Rugby Primary Schools’ Festival.

Throughout the year, hundreds of kids have taken part in festivals organised by Domino’s Pizza and Ulster Rugby to promote the development of youth rugby across Northern Ireland.

Phillip Polack, Business Development Manager at Ulster Rugby, said: “In looking for a partner for our mini rugby offering, we were searching for an organisation that shared our belief that all sport, from grassroots to elite level is dependent on local excitement and local support. We’ve found that with Domino’s.

“We want Ulster mini rugby to continue in the same successful vein that it has done for many years, and the support of Domino’s Pizza has played a major role in helping us to realise that ambition.”

During the week, players received coaching tips and tricks from Ulster Rugby stars Stephen Ferris, Darren Cave, Nigel Brady and Ruan Pienaar.
