Saturday date for Raceway this week

RACING continues at the Ballymena Showgrounds on Saturday evening (September 29) when the flying F2 Stock Cars contest their Supreme Championship.

Former European Champion Craig McConnell has been in dominant form at the Showgrounds arena in recent outings, but faces stern opposition from the likes of Christopher Kincaid and Track Champion Conor Hughes.

The stars of tomorrow in the Junior Rod class will battle it out for the Wm. Moody & Sons Car Sales backed Stadium Championship.

Aughafatten’s Jaimie McCurdy will start as one of the favourites in this one, along with Bradley McKinstry and Aidan McFerran.

The ORC Lightning Rods compete for the Champions Challenge Cup, while Irish Champion Curtis Greer from Cullybackey will be keen for further honours when the Group Two Lightning Rods race in their King of the North event.

The first race at ‘The Dealer.ie’ sponsored meeting gets underway in The Showgrounds at 7:15pm on Saturday evening.
