Sarsfields shine on multiple fronts

Well done to the Sarsfields primary 4 and primary 5 boys team who took part in the Wolfe Tones tournament, fielding two nine-a-side teams.

The primary 4 team played a number of games against Wolfe Tones, Éire Óg G.A.C. Craigavon Official Group Clan na Gael CLGl & Clann Eireann, Lurgan displaying great effort and skill in all games.

The primary 5 team played St Peters GAC Lurgan, Wolfe Tones, St.Galls G.A.C and Clann Eireann in the group stages. They qualified to meet Sarsfields Belfast in the semi-final of the shield winning by 1 point. They then met Wolfe Tones in the final and after a great game of football lost out narrowly.

Thanks to the coaches and parents today and Wolfe Tones for their invitation to the tournament. Coaching again this Wednesday night from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

Well done to our U12s who played a tough game against Moy Tír na nÓg G.A.C last Saturday. Thanks for coming to us and thanks Elisha for refereeing. Training for U10 and U12 girls on this Tuesday 6-7pm on 3G pitch.

Great game last Saturday as our U12 boys played O’Neill’s GFC An PortMor today. Thanks for coming down and for Niall for refereeing.

A great day last Sunday as some of our U12s are playing in a tournament in Éire Óg G.A.C. Craigavon Official Group. Played 3 games with Eire Og, Peadar Ó Doirnín GAA Forkhill and MagheryGAC.

Great match last Saturday as our U12s took on Thomas Davis GFC, Corrinshego. Thanks to referee Squire and his umpires.
