Ryan and John clean up in last week’s Sweep competitions at Banbridge GC

Last week, there were big wins for Ryan Simpson and John Crothers in the Sweeps at Banbridge GC.

SUNDAY 10TH MAY

Ryan Simpson is a new addition to the long list of Sunday Sweep winners. Ryan played the nine holes course in one over par gross 37 and that was good enough to hold off the chasing pack.

1st- Ryan Simpson (9) Nett 32.5.

2nd- Eugene Weir (5) Nett 33.5.

3rd- Robert Clydesdale (17) Nett 34.5.

THURSDAY 14TH MAY

Most of the golfers who go out for a game on a Thursday opt to play in the Open Stableford. For those who just haven’t got the time, there is still the 14 holes sweep. John Crothers made the correct choice last Thursday as he comfortably won the sweep. Good for him.

1st- John Crothers (13) 33 points.
