Rathfriland go top of Newry and Mourne league table

WITH the season coming near the close, the leading teams having only two or three games to play there has been a change at the top.

Rathfriland, having lead from very early on, have now been overtaken by Banbridge who now ahead by three and a half points.

Rathfriland remain second, Newcastle third and Dromore fourth.

The final of the knock out shield will be played at Annalong Bowling Club on Wednesday August 25 at 6pm. This year Kilkeel and Newcastle will meet each other and a very close game is anticipated.

The committee hope that a good number of spectators will come along and support the teams and would like to thank Annalong for hosting this special occasion.
