President’s Day a success

Despite the inclement weather ten ends of bowls were played. A delicious tea was enjoyed by all.

Rita thanked everyone for attending and for their support throughout the year. She then presented some beautiful prizes to the winners of the day’s bowling.

The first prize was won by Edith Whyte, the second by Cassie McDermott and the third by Rosaleen McGivern.

On the afternoon of Wednesday September 5 the finals of the Wingrave Cup and the Mary Moore Trophy will be played at Banbridge, and on the following day, Thursday September 6, Banbridge Ladies travel to Newcastle for the last league match of the season.
