“This information was then given to Mrs Louise Mc Dowell who edited the book ready to go to print and we would have to say she was very helpful as the information was given to her in several different formats such as old press cuttings, photos and recorded information from local people on the dictaphone.

“We would also like to thank AD Prints Banbridge for the very friendly and personal manner he gave us in preparing the book so that it was ready to go to print.

“We are so pleased to now have the finished book for you to read and enjoy and have all the photos and stories together for the future generations to look at and for the current generation to reminisce.”

If you wish to purchase a copy of the book you can contact Myrtle on 028 9753 2072 or Cynthia on 028 9753 2578.
