Dromore branch of RBL set to launch Poppy Appeal locally

The launch will go ahead at the War Memorial in Market Square at 11am.

A spokesperson for the local branch said: “It is hoped that children from the local primary schools will be involved along with officers and members of the local Royal British Legion Branch.

“Poppy collectors will be carrying out street collections and house-to-house collections between the launch date and Remembrance Sunday on November 9.”

Local shops and businesses will also have collection boxes available for donations.

“The general public is encouraged to support this very worthwhile cause,” the spokesperson said.
