Dromara History group resumes
Dromara Local History Group begins its new session on Monday, September 15 in The Lagan Park Centre at 8pm.
David Scott of the Somme Association, will be speaking first, on World War One.
Other speakers taking part in this session will speak on the Suffragettes, Irish Gold,the story of a Jewish Family in Lurgan,the history of roads in Ireland, the history of Dromara and Woodford, Amanda McKitterick Ross and film archives of local interest.
“We hope to attract some new members this year, and everyone is welcome,” a spokesperson said.
