No fears going into final

“We are looking forward to the game,” said Niall. “There is no doubt that Killeavey will be hot favourites for the final but St Peters are happy enough with that. We have nothing to fear and our players have the confidence to give this our best shot.”

The former Armagh Minor star was the lynchpin in his teams semi-final victory, but he admitted that his goal before the break against the Tones was crucial.

“You can look at it two ways,” he added. “The Tones disputed the referees decision but I thought it was a penalty and luckily I was in the right place to convert the rebound.

“The goal came at a crucial time and we pushed on from that. Over the two games they fought gamely but we just got the breaks at the right times and both games were very tight.

“We are a very young team and have still a lot to learn.”
