Night at the races is a success

This was the first fundraiser of the year and the club would like to thank everyone who contributed to the night especially our race sponsors: Anglers Rest, Martin McAnarney Joinery, Raymond McCullough, Seamus Doyle, Gareth Burns Plastering, Shane Burns, Pontzpass Pharmacy, Joe McAleenan Hardware and Doyles Bar.

Senior Hurling: The next game for the Senior Hurling team is on Wednesday May 5 away to Portaferry.

Camogie: The next game for Camogie team is away to Newry Shamrocks on Wednesday May 5.

U12s: The next game for the U12s is at home to Liatroim on Thursday May 6 at 7.30pm . All players are to meet in Ballela at 7pm.

The U12s travelled to Ballyvarley last Thursday night with a young team. The home team won the game on a score line of 24 to 17 points. Ballela never give up and had goal chances throughout the game. Ballela’s scorers were C Branniff, D McCrory and C McClure.

Under 6, 8, 10 and 12s: Training continues on Friday night at 7pm. Everyone welcome.

Lotto: The winning numbers for the week ending 24 April 2010 were 10, 13, 14 and 19. There were no 10 winners. The winner of the seller's draw was John Doyle.

The jackpot is now 4600. If you wish to contribute toward the club lotto please contact any committee member.
