Netball: Thirds lose out to Rathfriland as injury halts game
Bann 3rds played Rathfriland 1st in Gilford Community Centre on Thursday November 20.
The match started off strong with accurate passes being converted by GS Michelle Marshall and GA Mona Lewis. This ensured Bann held their own resulting in a 7-all score at the end of the 1st quarter.
By the end of the 3rd quarter Bann trailed 27-14. In the last quarter, due to Bann’s Michelle Foster getting injured and no subs, time was called early. Final score 29-18. The Club wish Michelle a speedy recovery.
