Mulhollands secured third spot in the McLean Bookmakers First Division with a great win in this local derby match.

It did not look likely in the early stages as P McStraw and D Russell gave the away side a 2-0 lead, but Mulhollands hit top gear as Mark McCormick, Keith Jardine, Alan Currie and Mark Jardine all won their frames to give the home side a two frame lead.

A Murray pulled one back for The Market and set up a tense final frame and Sam Roe showed he was well up for the challenge and secured that vital two points for Mulhollands .

This mid table clash went the way of the home side and finished off a what if season for both sides.

T Beattie and D Lyness gave The Bus an early lead.

Colin Morton pulled one back for The Legion.

The Bus then won the next two frames through N McMurrin and P McClean which secured at least a point for the home side.
