The visitors enjoyed a two goal lead at the half-time interval and extended their advantage with another two goals in the second half.

Greg Douglas put his side ahead when he reacted first to fire the ball home after Dean McCammon’s well struck shot was spilled by the Celtic keeper.

Glen Moffett took everyone by surprise when he spotted the home keeper off his line and opted to shoot from just inside the Keady half. The execution matched the swiftness of thought, with the ball arrowing precisely into an unguarded net from close to 40 yards out.

Moffett scored for a second time after the interval. The ball dropped at his feet in a crowded penalty area and he hammered it home from almost under the crossbar.

Substitute William Morrison carved out Scarva’s fourth and final goal with around ten minutes left, embarking on a driving run from midfield and picking out Dean McCammon, whose first time shot rocketed into the top corner from outside the box.

Best for Scarva Rangers – Glenn Moffett, whose two goals laid a firm foundation for this important league victory.
