Magowan brothers fastest in round three of Dromara club league

The third round of the Dromara Cycling Club, Summer Club League took place last Thursday night.

This round is the first of the two-up TT series for the John Patterson trophy and the road used was the infamous Lurgan road circuit.

There were over 40 riders in attendance with 20 pairs in total from Dromara CC and a few guest pairs as well.

Fastest pairing on the night were brothers Gavin and Chris Magowan with a time of 23:23, juniors Matthew Gibson and Matthew Armstrong second with 24:27 and Zak Hanna and Michael Cassidy rounding off the top three coming third in a time of 25:40.

Many thanks to the marshals and timekeepers who helped out on the night.

This Thursday night is the first individual time trial of the season on the Downpatrick road in Ballynahinch, starting 7pm with sign on from 6:30pm.
