Lurgan are too strong for Banbridge in Fred Daly Plate
The first leg was played at Banbridge last Saturday and team manager, Mark Crory, knew that his boys needed to win at least 5 games out of the seven played. That did not happen.
Josh Crory and Mathew Elliot both won.
Jack McKerr and Jack Hutchinson both finished all-square.
Luke Crory, Jamie Thompson and Rory McMullan lost their games.
So Lurgan led 4-3 going into the second leg on Sunday.

Hide AdLurgan is a long course in brilliant condition. The tree-lined fairways call for great accuracy off the tee.
Some of the Banbridge team were playing it for the first time and found it very difficult.
Tom McKibben and Rory O’Neill came onto the team in place of Matthew Elliot and Jack Hutchinson.
As mentioned earlier, Lurgan are a very talented team and they notched up the four points they required for victory very quickly.

Rory & Connor are big winners on Captain’s Day
The juveniles that were available played in Patrick McNiff’s Juvenile Captain’s Day last Wednesday.
Rory McMullan (10) won off the white blocks with Jack Hutchinson (19) in second.
Connor Woods (23) won off the yellow blocks and Mathew Hutchinson (19) was the runner-up.
The juveniles, I’m sure, would like to thank Patrick McNiff for his generosity.
