Dromara Cycling Club were well represented, as were Dromore Spin.

Dromore Spin completed the Mourne Route at 177km while Dromara CC members embarked on either the shorter Fondo which went via Whiterocks or the longer Fondo that basically went everywhere that had a hill.

The seven Dromore Spin riders were Sean, Jordanne, Claude, Michael, Valerie, Steven and Ivor. They all crossed the finish line and were greeted by the Young Women After Stroke Group (part of Stroke Association) who they are fundraising for. It was a great day and all riders are feeling a great sense of achievement. Donations are still being accepted and are greatly appreciated.

The top Dromara Cycling Club man on the day was the auld lad himself, Michael Cassidy who finished 22nd overall according to his chip time.

David Dickson was seen chasing the lead group down through Ballygowan after spending far too much time chatting while Ruth, Beverley, Linda and Emma were last spotted suspiciously close to Daft Eddy’s.
