*CLUB membership is now due and there will be a registration night on February 23 between 7-9pm.

Family membership this year is £50, husband and wife £50, one parent families and children £40, adult membership £40, U18s £20 and senior citizens £10. Only paid up members may train and play for the Club.

*The club shop is open every Wednesday between 7-8pm

*Club awards: At the presentation night the following awards were made:

Football: Minor – Robert O’Hare; Thirds – Michael McAnulty; Seconds – Peter Owens; Senior – Aidan Brown.

Hurler – Dan Morgan; Camogie – Karen McMullan; Club person – Marion and Dan Morgan.

Special award – Darren O’Higgins, a member of the St Colman’s College Hogan Cup winning team.

*U16 Football training on Thursday night at 7.30pm

U16 hurling training continues in Newcastle on the astro turf on Monday nights from 8-9pm. All players are to be at the astroturf at 7.45pm sharp. Please bring £2 each.

U14 and U16 camogie training on Saturdays from 3-4pm . Please bring warm clothing and a water bottle. All players new and old welcome

*U10 indoor camogie blitzes - Liatroim Fontenoys will enter two teams in a series of Down U10 six-a-side indoor camogie blitzes held in Bryansford GAC over the coming weeks. All blitzes will take place from 11am to 12.30pm on the following dates: Saturday 19th February, Saturday 5th March, Saturday 19th March and Saturday 2nd April.

All players should arrive at Bryansford GAC at 10.45am, and should bring their own water bottle. Players are urged to purchase their own Liatroim socks, skirt and helmet which are available from the club shop on  Wednesdays from 7-8pm. Liatroim jerseys and indoor hurls will be provided to all players at each blitz.

*An Ulster Hurling Roadshow will take place on February 26 in Dunloy’s  Centre of Excellence from 9.30am to 3pm. The day will be taken by top hurling coaches including Eamon O’Shea (Tipp trainer), Eoin Kelly (Tipp), Dominic McKinley, Shane Elliott, Brian McFall, John McIntosh and Mickey McCullough. Cost £10 per coach or £50 for six coaches. Please contact Lisa McCrickard for more information

*Lotto: Thursday February 10 – 1, 4, 12, 17. There was no jackpot winner but there were five match three winners - Jessica Priestly, Anne McClean, Margaret McCrickard, Brigid King and Mary McGee. The sellers draw was won by Noel Brown. Next week’s jackpot stands at £1400 with the draw to be made in Mac’s  Bar.
