The competition offers Senior Mens, Senior Ladies, Mens Double, Ladies Doubles and Mixed categories and players of all standards and abilities are welcome to join in. All of Larne’s recent senior interprovincial stars will be taking part with Irish, Ulster and current Larne’s No.1 player Lynsey McCullough a strong challenger for the inaugural P&O Irish Sea Larne Open Ladies’ single title. She will face opposition from Ulster and Larne players Lynsey Smythe, Fiona Gallagher and Lauren Smythe who have already triumphed as Belfast & District Division 1 champions for 2010.

Larne male tennis players hope to dominate the men’s P&O Irish Sea singles event, with current Ulster players, and brothers, Nelson Boyle and Adam Boyle both aiming to contend for the title. The pair also hope to lift the men’s doubles crown.

Larne Bowling and Tennis Club have extended a warm thank you to their sponsors including P&O Irish Sea and David Gotto All – Sports.
