It was her first call-up for Northern Ireland and she was delighted to be part of the ladies’ team which managed to secure third place and pick up a bronze medal.

Meanwhile, Nat Glenn, running with North Belfast Harriers, travelled to Magherafelt to take part in Acorn AC’s inaugural Mighty Oaks 5k in Magherafelt.

On what was a very undulating and tough course, Glenn equipped himself very well, finishing sixth overall and winning the Veteran 50s category.

The well-known Larne athlete crossed the line in 17:16.
