Juniors U9s put in good performances

BANBRIDGE Town U9s played another two games at the Brownstown Development Centre on Saturday morning.

In the first game they played the strongest team at the centre and competed brilliantly epecially in the firt half of the game.

Taylor Hill, Josh Kerr and Harry Annett all had shots saved while at the other end Toby Jones pulled off a worlks classs save to keep the scores level.

The opposition then took the lead with good approcah play and soon found the net with another.

Alex Innocenzi and Bobby Jone tood firm at the back while Finn Martin also added strength to the rearguard against a very good side.

Daniel McGivern then made the goalkeeper work with Tom King alao going close for Town before the end.

In the second game the opposition took the lead but then Taylor Hill equalised with a super long range trike into the top corner. Banbridge went behind on the 10th minute mark and desspite good work at times by Banbridge the y conceded another two.

Toby Jone again pulled off a super save while Innocenzi, Bobby Jones and Finn Martin all had good displays in their defensive duties. Hill and King both shot over from distance while Josh Kerr`s industry created chance for Annett and McGivern.

Noble then went close before the end while Innocenzi also founs himself in an advanced position to get a shot on target.

Overall a good diplay by the boys who continue to work hard both in training and on matchday.
