Joe takes top spot in Slane TT

Last Wednesday evening, Banbridge Cycling Club hosted the Moneyslane 10 Mile Time Trial with Joe Penny coming out on top.

The route starts at Moneyslane and runs toward Finnis over the arduous and hilly B road for five miles before doubling back. Riders use standard road bikes as opposed to the more streamlined time trial specific bikes due to their improved handling on hilly terrain.

As many as 16 riders took part with all completing the route. All riders were from Banbridge Cycling Club with two talented riders finishing the course in impressive times under 30 minutes.
