Hosted by XMTB, this round, in the spectacular surroundings of Lady Dixon Park, took place on a course to test even the most seasoned races among the 250 riders signing on.

Some great performances by Banbridge CC riders underlined once again the strength in depth of the off road section of the club.

Among the highlights was the brilliant victory for Gareth (Banbridge CC/Chain Reaction) in the senior race when he had to overcome a poor start to win by over 50 seconds.

Equally impressive in the junior race was James (Banbridge CC/Lakeland Bikes) who not only took the win but also recorded the fastest lap of the day by any rider.

Cameron McIntyre and Shannon Buller both claimed second place finishes in the U16 Boys and U16 Girls races with the pair getting stronger as the series continues towards the National Championships in July.

It was pleasing to see a good turnout of Banbridge CC youngsters in the under age categories including, in U10, Sam Baird who finished 13th, Charlie Dunlop (eighth Girl) and Jack Baird (sixth Boy) in the U12s and Mark Buller (13th) in the U14s. These riders represent Banbridge CC in events up and down the country throughout the season and are to be commended for their efforts in all conditions. The off road section will continue to prosper with their like.
