Jack proved too good for his opponent Anthony Clyde of the Dunluce Club, Portrush and at the end of the game he won by 21 shots to 3, to the delight of the supporters from Rathfriland.

The previous day he had won by 21 shots to 17 against Stephen Kirkwood, Old Bleach, which set Jack up for the final and he certainly delivered the result to lift the trophy.

Jack started playing bowls at the age of 10 and followed his grandfather, the late Jim Moffett, who won many honours with Rathfriland, and his dad Nigel, who is a regular player with the club.

The officers and members of Rathfriland Bowling Club send their congratulations to their newly crowned champion Jack on bringing honours to himself and also to Rathfriland Bowling Club, what a future for this Newry High School student.
