It’s been a busy year for local woman Sara

SARA Clinghan, Chairman of the NICDA, recieved the Friendship Quaich which was presented to the club by Mary and Bill Bryson from Lanark, Scotland.

This was presented to the lowest average desssage score in the open class for 2011. Sara has been competing with her horse, Highmoor Firecracker, who is now 25 years old and although he only does a few chosen events he still loves to get out and enjoys his work.

Meanwhile all the ladies in the club who help behind the scenes have just received presents from the Chairman on behalf of the club for all their work.

The club has had a wonderful year with numerous events taking place and social activities, finishing off with the championships at Necarne in August.

Sara, who has been chairman for the past two years, would like to thank all the land owners who allow the club to use their land; the stewards and judges who come on a regular basis, and wish all the competitors a happy Christmas and a successful season in 2012.
