Due to the Bann lads involvement in the Ireland squad, this weekend’s scheduled Ulster Premier League game against Garvey has been postponed as expected.

After last night’s opener in the three game series, Coach Craig Fulton praised his young squad.

“I’m really pleased,” he said.

“We have been lining up this game for our development group for the last four months. It was positive, there was some good flowing play and we will bring some of these guys through to Thursday, mixed with a lot of the World League 2 panel,” he said.

Bann lads will be hoping for more game time as Ireland take on France on Thursday and Friday in Dublin.
